Source Materials
Synthetic Charisma is built on an evidentiary foundation of nearly 170 sourced documents: primary court filings, complaints, judicial orders, and final judgments drawn from more than a dozen wrongful-death and gross-negligence suits filed against OpenAI, Character.AI, Google, and Tesla since 2024 — cross-referenced against wire-service and legal-trade reporting, and woven together with verbatim, unedited interview transcripts the author conducted directly with Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, and ChatGPT. This page organizes that research by category so readers can verify the claims for themselves.
1. Primary Legal Filings
Complaints, amended complaints, motions, orders, and judgments from the wrongful-death and product-liability suits examined in the book — Raine v. OpenAI, Garcia v. Character Technologies, Gavalas v. Google, and Benavides v. Tesla, among others. Case-by-case summaries with citations and links to trackers and primary dockets are collected on the Court Filings page.
2. Verbatim AI Interview Transcripts
A structural centerpiece of the book: five full-length, unedited interview transcripts the author conducted with Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), DeepSeek, Grok (xAI), and ChatGPT (OpenAI), reproduced exactly as they occurred so readers can watch each model’s own language perform the persuasive tendencies the book describes — in real time, without editorial softening. Several interviews were also conducted by voice; the book notes companion audio for at least one on this site. The complete transcripts and psychological profile analysis for each system are reproduced in full in the book (Chapters 3–12).
3. Reporting & Legal-Trade Coverage
Independent verification and ongoing status of the litigation, from outlets and trackers dedicated to covering AI-related harm cases as they develop:
The book’s complete, endnoted bibliography (Appendix A: Sources & Case Citations) runs to nearly 170 entries. This page reflects the most load-bearing sources; the full citation list is in Synthetic Charisma itself.
